Rosa 'Paul Transon'

This photograph is not in The Haphazard Gardener but mention is made of it, and several others that I bought from Frampton Roses in Dorset.  The brief extract however comes from the book.

I planted Rosa 'Paul Transon' a large flowered full double salmon with coppery overtones and a creamy-yellow base on each petal. It rambled rapidly along the branches and through the canopy, [of an ornamental cherry] enjoying both the shade and the sun. Its fragrance of fresh apples filled the air drawing attention to its beauty.
